Why Edge Flow
No cookie-cutter plans. No guesswork. Every program is built around your life, your data, and your race day goals.
Every workout is anchored to your power, pace, and heart rate zones. We use your numbers to build plans that actually work for your body.
Sprint, Olympic, 70.3, or 140.6 — your training block is built backwards from your A-race, with periodization that peaks you at the right moment.
Weekly check-ins, real-time feedback on your workouts, and a coach who picks up the phone when race week nerves hit.
Athlete Stories
I took 22 minutes off my half-iron time working with Edge Flow. The structured bike training and race-day nutrition plan made all the difference. Couldn't recommend more highly.
As a first-time triathlete I was overwhelmed. My coach broke everything down, kept me consistent through a hectic work schedule, and I crossed the finish line of my first Olympic tri feeling strong.
The swim-focused block we did in the off-season completely changed my confidence in the water. I went from dreading the swim to actually looking forward to it come race morning.
Applications are open. Let's talk about your goals and build your path to the finish line.
About the Coach
Edge Flow Endurance was built on a simple belief: age group athletes deserve the same quality of coaching as the pros. That means personalized plans, honest feedback, and a coach who geeks out on the data as much as you do.
Whether you're lining up for your first sprint or chasing a 70.3 PR, this program meets you where you are and pushes you to where you want to be.
Background
I am a competitive age group triathlete who has raced everything from local sprints to 140.6s for 15+ years. As a full-time data scientist and having a Ph.D., I coach athletes with a scientific and data-driven mindset. Having worked through the same challenges every age grouper faces — balancing training with a full-time career, managing injuries, dialing in nutrition on long race days — there's an art to finding the balance and it has come through hard-earned experience and a deep toolbox of approaches that actually work.
The coaching philosophy is rooted in evidence: structured training blocks, zone-based intensity distribution, clear focus on recovery, and continuous refinement of your weakest discipline. You'll always know why you're doing a workout, not just what it is. I believe in building the training plan with the athlete, with constant and open feedback from the athlete about their physical and mental well-being.
What I Stand For
I build durable athletes — physically and mentally prepared for anything race day throws at them.
Every training block is a step forward. I celebrate progress at every level, not just the podium.
Race day feels effortless when the preparation has been deliberate. I can help you find your flow state.
Training Philosophy
More hours don't automatically equal more speed. The athletes who improve fastest are the ones doing the right work at the right intensity at the right time. That's what every Edge Flow plan is built around: pyramidal training distribution, discipline-specific focus blocks, and recovery baked in as a non-negotiable.
Race strategy is treated as seriously as training. You'll go into every race with a detailed pacing plan, a nutrition protocol, and a mental framework — because the best fitness in the world won't matter if you blow up at mile 40 on the bike.
Coaching & Pricing
Each plan includes personalized training, ongoing athlete support, and a coach who shows up as invested in your race as you are.

FAQ
I use TrainingPeaks for all plan delivery and workout tracking. A free account is all you need to get started.
A power meter is helpful but not required. I highly recommend one — it's the most reliable way to control and measure your training load.
Ideally 16–24 weeks. This gives us time for base building, a focused build block, a peak phase, and a proper taper. Less time is workable — reach out and I'll find the right approach.
No long-term contracts. I ask for a 3-month initial commitment to see real results, and after that it's month-to-month. You can pause or cancel with 30 days notice.
